Ori came to us with a strong sense of their values: realness, challenging the status quo, coming together as a community, and honoring the creative problem-solver in all of us. The visual identity and logo for Ori are inspired by earthy colors and textures and lots of hand-touched, imperfect details, representative of the natural growth they help facilitate, and the importance of realness and humanness to the brand's mission.

In early ideating on the logo, my North Star was Ori's three pillars: community, STEM, and education. Before creating the logo, I created three custom icons that represent each of the brand's pillars. I realized if I combined the three icons in a very intentional way, they resemble a flower, which felt a poetic way to represent how Ori is helping to facilitate growth and emboldening youth to create their own futures.
Following the themes of growth and humanness, natural textures and an earthy color palette helped shape the direction for the website design and visual identity. The chosen direction for the website utilizes balanced, natural hues and creates visual interest with overlapping elements and textured yet elegant typography.
The visual identity for Ori Consultancy represents the brand's values and pillars from a quick glance: hand-touched textures and grounded earthy colors honor the mission of growth at the company's core. The overall look for the collateral materials leans minimal but comes with layers of meaning and moments of lightness, representing the nuance and richness of the work that Ori helps facilitate.
